SHU-UTS SILC BUSINESS SCHOOL, SHANGHAI UNIVERSITY
was founded in 1994 as a cooperative educational venture jointly owned by ShanghaiUniversity (SHU)in China and The University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) in Australia.
The bringing together of the best of SHUand UTS,coupled with the import of high-quality educational resources from abroad, and the adoption of strict quality assurance measures, all have made SILC become the foremost Sino-foreign cooperative school in China.
Every year, SILCreceives more than 300 international students from all over the world, which is about 10% of our total student body, and sends about 260 Chinese students to overseasuniversities for long- termand short-term exchange programs. SILCwelcomes exchange students from all over the world and wish to send our students to study abroad.
We have signed exchange agreements with more than 20 universities, which are mainly located in America and Europe. Studentscan not only study businesscourses at SILC,of which the instruction language is English, but also can study basic Chinese provided by SILC.
Through this program students will:

Our campus offers learning facilities integrated with cutting-edge technology to enhance student’s learning experience. The SILClibrary has a large quantity of books and materials from overseasuniversities and is open to both staff and students. In addition to learning facilities, SILCcampus has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including basketball courts, tennis courts, grass football pitch, badminton courts, table-tennis facilities, etc.
STUDY ABROAD
SILCundergraduate students may apply for a one-term or one-year exchange study among 14 partner universities in
8 countries. SILCalso organizes 6 summer schools in the US,the UK, Australia, Norway and Canada for students to expand their international horizon. SILCis going to promote more study opportunities in the future.
