住宿安排
一、房间预定
1.上海大学国际学生公寓采取线上申请制度。如有校内住宿需求,长期生新生(学历生、三个月以上非学历生)需在新生预报到平台开放期进行住宿申请(具体开放时间以通知为准);在校长期生(学历生、三个月以上非学历生)需至少于入住日期前五个工作日在学校本硕博一体化平台提出住宿申请;短期生需通过国际教育学院(以下简称“学院”)统一申请,经学院、后勤保障部公寓管理中心(以下简称“中心”)审核通过后方可办理入住。
2.错过申请时间或未成功预订的学生原则上不予安排住宿。
3.线上申请将根据学生身份信息自动分配校区和推荐房型。在房源许可的情况下,如享受免住宿费的奖学金生申请升级房型,需补缴房费差额,具体审核及安排将视整体房源情况而定。
4.享受免住宿费的奖学金生住宿有效期为一学年,自费长期生住宿有效期至少为六个月(以寒暑假为限),中途均不办理退宿手续。若期间房源条件发生变化,中心应及时告知学生,住宿学生应服从管理,配合调整工作。
5.中心将保留自国际学生预订入住日期起十天的房源,逾期未入住将自动默认取消预订。申请通过后未及时办理入住超过2次,将不再受理该生的住宿申请。
6.超出学习年限延长学籍者,如需继续申请校内住宿,应在规定时间内通过学校本硕博一体化平台提出住宿申请,经学院审核延长学籍信息后,中心将视房源情况审核安排。审核通过后,住宿学生应配合完成寝室调整。延长学籍超过1年的本科生、硕士研究生及延长学籍超过3年的博士研究生原则上不再提供住宿。
二、房间安排
1.国际学生的住宿房间由中心统一安排,住宿学生应服从中心的安排与管理。语言生、本科生、硕士研究生等原则上安排双人间或四人间,在房源许可的情况下,博士研究生安排单人间。
2.坚持男、女分住的原则,均在我校学习的国际学生夫妇如需合住,需通过学院向中心提出书面申请,并出示夫妻关系的法律文件。
3.在房源许可的情况下,可提供长期生最早于报到日前3天,及学期结束(毕业生按规定毕业退宿日)后4天的住宿。原则上,其他时间将无法安排住宿。
4.在房源许可的情况下,可以满足长期生寒暑期住宿的需求。
5.住宿期间不允许擅自更换房间,如遇疾病等特殊原因确需调换宿舍的,需通过学院向中心提出申请,并出具相关证明,经批准和安排后方可进行调换,不得自行调换。如因房间和设施有严重损坏,请及时联系公寓前台,管理人员将根据情况安排修理或调换。学生在住宿期间因个人原因申请换房次数不得超过2次。
6.住宿国际学生疑似患有或者患有《中华人民共和国传染病防治法》规定的各类传染病的,应主动报告校医院和中心;国际学生发现住宿公寓楼内有疑似患有传染性疾病的患者,应及时报告中心;传染病病人、病原携带者和疑似传染病人,在治愈前或在排除传染病嫌疑前,应服从医院机构的指导意见,配合相关住宿调整和安排。
7.当发生住宿资源整合、公寓楼修缮、校区/楼宇/房间功能定位调整等情况,中心有权对宿舍进行调整,学生须服从安排并配合完成工作。
三、入住手续
1.预订成功后,请在预订时间有效期内至预订的国际学生公寓前台处办理入住手续。办理入住手续时,必须出具电子版录取通知书原件的打印件或在学证明原件以及学生本人合法、有效的护照和签证。
2.获批校内住宿的国际学生须与中心签订《上海大学国际学生住宿协议》,并自觉遵守住宿协议和中心各项规章制度。
3.国际学生必须按照中心安排的床位入住,不得私自调换床位,不得私占空房或空床位。请妥善保管房卡,如有遗失,按成本原价赔偿。
4.如护照或签证延期、换发等,国际学生需及时告知公寓前台管理人员,及时更新住宿登记信息。因护照、签证过期未及时办理住宿登记的,中心有权中止住宿资格。
5.房费支付方式:
享受免住宿费的奖学金生住宿费由学院按期统一转账支付。房费自费生支付可选择网上汇款,或办理入住时现场缴费。
A.网上汇款请于办理入住登记时出示汇款凭证。
B.现场支付请使用手机移动端支付或银行卡支付(国际信用卡或中国银行境外分行办理的借记卡或信用卡刷卡支付时需缴纳银行手续费;在中国办理的银行卡刷卡无需缴纳手续费)。
6.付款期限:
短期生(入住不满一学期)需一次性缴纳所有房费,长期生需一次性支付至少一学期房费。
房费支付应于入住当日完成,如遇特殊情况入住当日无法缴费,须向中心递交情况说明,得到许可后,最晚于入住后的一周内缴清房费。住宿期间需按时缴清电费、水费等。如出现欠费1个月且未及时办理补费手续或存在频繁拖欠当月房费、电费、水费等情况,中心有权取消住宿资格。拒不缴纳欠费者,将根据上海大学国际学生管理规定进行处置。

五、退宿及退费
1.享受免住宿费的奖学金生原则上住宿有效期为一学年,自费长期生住宿有效期至少为六个月(以寒暑假为限),中途不办理退房手续。如因退学或休学等特殊情况需提前退宿,学生须至少提前30天,通过学院提交书面退房申请至中心。经审批通过,并结清所有费用,方可办理退宿。
2.因毕业、结业、退学、休学等原因离校、住宿协议到期、自愿申请退宿及被取消住宿资格等原因的国际学生,须按时办理退宿手续。请及时填写离校手续单,国际学生公寓部分由前台管理人员确认所有费用已结清,房间物品已清点,并由国际学生公寓区域主管负责审核签字,方可准予退宿。逾期拒不办理者,中心将协同相关部门执行。
3.因退学或休学等特殊情况需提前退宿的自费生须按财务要求提供已缴纳住宿费的收据、本人银行卡的复印件(需本人签名确认,国内五大银行均可,且均需提供开户行信息;如开户行在外省市的,需标明异地)、银行提供的该银行卡具有本人开户姓名的凭证,剩余房费将退还至银行卡,否则将不予退还。
4.不满一个学期的各类短期留学团组等,预订且已经安排了房间,凡因个人原因提前退房,房费将不予退还。
5.在校内住宿的国际学生计划外出超过七天的,应当提前告知前台管理人员。
6.国际学生学习期间寒、暑假回国需寄存行李,可到国际学生公寓前台办理行李寄存登记,并于开学两周内提取暂存行李,如逾期无人取回,将作无主物品处理。
住宿管理
1.严禁在楼内进行赌博、色情、贩毒等违反中国法律的活动。
2.严禁在楼内进行打架、斗殴、传教等违反校纪校规的活动。
3.注意用电安全。严禁在房间内私接电线,严禁私自使用公共用电,严禁电源插座等上床。连续3次发现用电不规范,如人离开寝室不关电源等情形,相关物品将暂为保管,至毕业时归还。学生自行购买使用的电器(含接线板),因使用不当或故障而引起的一切后果由使用者承担。以下物品定义为违章或非安全器具(包含但不限于),严禁私自带入使用:
(1)热得快、电炉、电热杯、电热毯、电热取暖器、电熨斗、电夹板、卷发器、电水壶等电加热类设备以及无自动断电保护装置的电器;
(2)空调、空调扇、电冰箱等电制冷类设备;
(3)电磁炉、烤箱、电饭锅、电煮锅、微波炉等电炊器具类设备;
(4)无3C认证(中国强制性产品认证China Compulsory Certification)的电器;
(5)其他存在安全隐患的电器。
4.严禁将电动助力车(含电瓶车、平衡车、电平板车等)及各类大容量电池存放在楼内及房间内,严禁在楼内及房间内为电动助力车(含电瓶车、平衡车、电平板车等)及各类大容量电池充电。如有违反,相关物品将暂为保管,至毕业时归还;情节严重者,中心将取消住宿资格,并按照国际学生管理规定进行处罚,触犯法律的将由政府相关部门依法处理。
5.注意消防安全。公寓楼内严禁吸烟,违者将支付一定的消除房间环境污染费用。严禁易燃易爆物品带进楼内,严禁在房间内使用明火,不要随意移动、损坏消防器材,不得堵塞应急疏散通道,不得在非紧急情况下动用消防设施设备、开启应急疏散门等。如有违反,一经发现,将给予处罚。情节严重者,中心将取消住宿资格,并按照国际学生管理规定进行处罚。
6.在公用厨房使用电磁炉、微波炉时,人不要离开,以防止溢出引起漏电等安全隐患,注意厨房设施设备使用规范。所有的电器设备用完后及时关闭电源。如因个人原因,造成安全隐患或公共财产损失者,违者将承担造成损失的费用,中心将取消住宿资格,并按照国际学生管理规定进行处罚。
7. 公寓内如发生火警、漏电等意外事故,请速向国际学生公寓前台或国际学生公寓办公室报告。
8.国际学生不得在非紧急情况下进入限制区域,如天台、配电间、电梯机房、水箱房、管道井等设备区域(包含但不限于)。
9.请爱护楼内的公共设施和房间内的家具用品、电器设备及墙面;如有人为损坏,将按原价双倍进行赔偿。拒不赔偿者,中心将取消住宿资格,并按照国际学生管理规定进行处罚。
10.不得在宿舍和公寓楼内增加规定原有配置以外的家具和设备(如洗衣机、饮水机等),不得在房间内私自装修装饰或改变房屋结构、布局、功能。

国际学生公寓实行访客登记制度。国际学生的同胞、朋友来访时,需出示本人有效证件,经前台人员审验,办理好会客登记手续后方可进入楼内。不得在非访客时间接待他人,严禁留宿非本寝室人员。住宿期间违反访客制度,擅自让访客留宿的按房费3倍处罚,若情节严重者,中心将取消住宿资格,并通报学院按照国际学生管理规定进行处罚。住宿国际学生接待访客期间,对来访人员扰乱住宿管理秩序等不当行为应及时制止,必要时及时报告国际学生公寓前台或国际学生公寓办公室。
12.请保持房间及公共区域的卫生。不在楼内乱涂、乱画、乱张贴及乱扔杂物,楼内不能携带、饲养宠物。垃圾应配合做好垃圾分类,并按时带出公寓楼。
13.请保管好个人财物。请勿将贵重物品和大量现金存放在室内,如必须存放,请上锁并确保安全,一旦遗失或失窃,责任自负。请妥善保管好房间门禁卡、钥匙等,不随便借给他人,不得私自配房间钥匙或另加门锁,不得出租出借公寓房间和床位。人离开房间时一定要锁好门窗,关闭所有电源开关等,以防发生意外。
14.创建安静、文明的生活环境。楼内不能大声喧哗,使用视听音响设备、弹奏乐器等需控制音量,避免影响他人休息。房间内视听音响设备音量过大影响到他人休息并被周围学生投诉过2次以上且不听劝阻的,该设备将被暂为保管,至毕业时归还。严禁在宿舍楼内酗酒,违者第1次书面警告,第2次发生违反规定的,中心将取消住宿资格。严禁阳台高空抛物,一旦查实,中心将取消住宿资格;如引发重大安全事故,按相关规定处理。
15.中心、学院、保卫处等将每月至少一次入室进行安全与卫生大检查,请予以全力配合。对于在检查过程中发现的违规情形,检查人员有权当即采取必要的措施,并开具安全与卫生大检查违规整改单,违者3次及以上,中心将取消住宿资格;情节严重者,中心有权给予取消住宿资格处理,并通报学院按照国际学生管理规定进行处罚。
16.国际学生公寓楼实行24小时门禁制度,在住学生刷卡进楼,外出请在24:00前返回公寓,过时须登记进楼。

Regulations on the Management of the International Students Dormitory at Shanghai University
I.Accommodation Arrangement
(I)Room Reservation
1.The International Students Dormitory at Shanghai University adopts online application system. If there is a demand for on-campus accommodation, new long-term students (academic students, and non-academic students over three months) are required to apply for accommodation on the forecast arrival platform for new students during the open period (the exact opening time is subject to notification), long-term students on campus (academic students, and non-academic students over three months) are required to apply for accommodation on the integrated platform of the University at least five working days before the date of check-in, and short-term students should apply for accommodation through the College of International Education (hereinafter referred to as ‘the College’), and will only be allowed to check in after approvals of the College and the Housing Management Center (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Center’).
2. In principle, students who miss the application time or fail to book successfully will not be arranged for accommodation.
3. The online application system will automatically assign the campus and recommended room type according to the students' identity information. Full scholarship students who are exempted from accommodation fees will be required to pay the difference in accommodation fees if they wish to upgrade their room type, subject to the availability of housing.
4. The default period of the accommodation for the full scholarship students who are exempted from accommodation fee is one full academic year. The default period of accommodation for self-financed long-term students is at least six months (before winter or summer holidays). No check out will be carried out in the middle of the accommodation period for all students. If there is any change in the housing conditions during the period, the Center shall inform the students in time, and the students shall obey the management and cooperate with the adjustment.
5. The Center will reserve the room for ten days from the check-in date of the international student's booking, and the booking will be canceled by default if the student fails to move in after that date. If the student fails to check in more than two times after the application is approved, the student's application for accommodation will no longer be accepted.
6. Students who have extended their study period beyond the normal study period and need to continue to apply for on-campus accommodation should apply for accommodation through the integration platform of the University, and the Center will review and arrange for accommodation depending on the availability of rooms after the College has confirmed and approved the extension of study period information. After the review, the student should cooperate with the adjustment of the dormitory. In principle, undergraduates and master's degree students who have extended their academic status for more than one year and PHD students who have extended their semester for more than three years will no longer be provided with accommodation.
(II)Room Arrangement
1. The accommodation rooms for international students are arranged by the Center, and the accommodation students should obey the arrangement and management of the Center. In principle, language students, undergraduates and master's degree students will be provided with double or quadruple rooms, while PHD students will be provided with single rooms if the room supply permits.
2. Male and female students are required to stay in separate rooms. Couples of international students who are both studying in Shanghai University and need to share accommodation must submit a written application to the Center through the College, and show the legal documents of the relationship between husband and wife.
3. Accommodation for long-term students can be provided as early as 3 days before the registration date and 4 days after the end of the semester (and required graduation and check-out date for graduates), subject to the availability of housing. In principle, accommodation will not be available at other times.
4. Accommodation for long-term students during summer or winter holidays is available when room availability permits.
5. Unauthorized room changes are not permitted during the period of accommodation. In case of illness or other special reasons that necessitate a change of dormitory, an application and relevant certificates must be submitted to the Center through the College, and the change can only be carried out after approval and arrangement, and not on one's own. If there is any serious damage to the room or facilities, please contact the reception desk staff of the dormitory office in time, and the staff will arrange for repair or room change according to the situation. Students are not allowed to apply for room change more than 2 times during their stay for personal reasons.
6. International students who are suspected to be suffering from or have suffered from all kinds of infectious diseases stipulated in the Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases shall take the initiative to report to the University Hospital and the Centre; international students who find patients suspected to be suffering from infectious diseases in the dormitory buildings shall report to the Centre in time; patients, carriers of pathogens and suspected infectious diseases shall obey the guidance of the hospital institutions before they are cured or before the suspicion of infectious diseases is ruled out, and they should cooperate with the relevant accommodation adjustment and arrangement.
7. The Center has the right to adjust the dormitory when there is a consolidation of accommodation resources, repair of the dormitory building, or adjustment of the functional position of the campus/building/room, etc. Students shall obey the arrangement and cooperate with the work.
(III) Check-in
1. After successfully booking, please check in at the reception desk of the booked international student dormitory within the validity period of the booking. When checking in, students must present the printout of the original electronic admission letter or the original copy of the certificate of enrolment, as well as the students' legal and valid passport and visa.
2. International students approved for on-campus accommodation are required to sign the "Shanghai University International Student Accommodation Agreement" with the Centre, and consciously abide by the Accommodation Agreement and the rules and regulations of the Centre.
3.International students must move in according to the beds arranged by the Center, and are not allowed to change beds or occupy empty rooms or beds. Please keep the room card in a safe place. If it is lost, you are required to pay the original cost.
4. If your passport or visa is extended or renewed, international students should inform the reception desk staff of the dormitory in time to update the accommodation registration information. The Centre reserves the right to suspend the accommodation status of any person who fails to register for accommodation in time due to the expiry of passport or visa.
5. Payment method:
Scholarship students who enjoy free accommodation fee will pay the accommodation fee by transferring money from the College on a regular basis. Self-funded students can choose to pay their room fee by online remittance or on-site payment at the time of check-in.
A.If payment has been made online, a remittance certificate is required to be presented for check-in.
B. For on-site payment, please use mobile phone or bank card (1. There will be bank processing fees for international credit or debit cards or credit cards issued by oversea branches of Chinese banks. (2. There will be no bank processing fees for the bank cards issued by domestic branches of Chinese banks.)
6. Payment term:
Short-term students (less than one semester) must pay all the room fees in one lump sum, and long-term students must pay the room fees of at least one semester in a lump sum.
The payment shall be completed on the day of check-in. Under special circumstances where payment upon check-in cannot be made, payment can be extended up to one week after check-in subject to approval that an explanation should be submitted to the Center. During the period of accommodation, all students must pay electricity, water bills on time. If students who are in arrears for 1 month and have not gone through the procedure of making up the fees in time, or if there are frequent arrears of the room charges for the month, they will be withdrawn from the dormitory and may be disqualified from the accommodation. Those who refuse to make payments will be dealt with according to the regulations of Shanghai University International Students.

(V) Termination of Accommodation and Refund
1. In principle, the validity period of the accommodation for full scholarship students who are exempted from accommodation fee is one academic year, and the validity period of the accommodation for long-term students who are self-financed is at least six months (before summer or winter holidays), and no check-out procedures will be carried out in the middle of the period. If there are special circumstances such as withdrawal or suspension from the university that require early check-out, students shall submit a written application for check-out to the Center through the College at least 30 days in advance. Only after approval and settlement of all charges can the student be checked out.
2. International students who leave the university due to graduation, completion, withdrawal, suspension, etc., expiration of the accommodation agreement, voluntary application for check out, or cancellation of accommodation status, must go through the withdrawal procedure on time. Please fill in the departure form in time, and the dorm reception desk staff will confirm that all the fees have been settled, the items in the room have been counted, and the regional supervisor of the international student dormitory of the Center will be responsible for examining and signing the form before the students are allowed to withdraw from the dormitory. If the student refuses to do so after the deadline, the Center will co-operate with the relevant university departments to take measures.
3. The self-financed students who check out the dormitory in advance due to the withdrawal or suspension from the university must provide the receipt of the paid accommodation fee, a copy of their bank card (to be confirmed by their own signatures, and the five major domestic banks can be, and all need to provide the information of the account bank; if the account bank is in a foreign province or city, it is necessary to indicate the foreign place), the voucher from the bank providing the bank card with the name of the account holder's name, and then the rest of the room fee will be refunded to the bank card, or else it will not be refunded.
4. All kinds of short-term study groups who reserve dormitories for less than one semester will not be refunded for room fees for early check-out caused by any personal reasons.
5. All students living on campus should report to reception desk staff of the returning time if they are going to leave the dormitories for vacations or other reasons for more than 7 days.
6. During the study period, International students who need to store their luggage when they return to their home country during the winter or summer holidays can register their luggage at the front desk of the international students dormitories. Luggage should be picked up within two weeks after new term begins. If no one picks up the luggage after the expiration date, it will be treated as unclaimed items.
II. Management of the Accommodation
1. Gambling, the use of pornography, drug trafficking and any other activities that violate Chinese law are strictly prohibited in the building.
2. The use of violence, physical altercations and the preaching of any religious activities are strictly prohibited in the building.
3. Pay attention to the safety of electricity. It is strictly prohibited to connect the electric wires in the room indiscriminately, to use public electricity privately, or to put power sockets on the bed and so on. In the event of three cases of irregular use of electricity, such as people leaving the dormitory without switching off the power, the relevant items will be temporarily stored until graduation. All consequences arising from the improper use or malfunction of electrical appliances (including terminal boards) purchased and used by students themselves shall be responsible by the user. The following items are defined as prohibited or non-safety appliances (including but not limited to), and are strictly prohibited to be brought in and used in the dormitory:
(1) Electric kettles, electric stoves, electric cups, electric blankets, electric heaters, electric irons, electric splints, curling irons, and other electric heating devices, as well as electrical appliances that do not have automatic power-off protection devices;
(2) Air conditioners, air conditioning fans, and refrigerators, and other electric refrigeration equipment;
(3) Induction cookers, ovens, rice cookers, electric cookers, microwave ovens and other electric cooking appliances;
(4) Electrical appliances without 3C certification (China Compulsory Certification);
(5) Other electrical appliances with potential safety hazards.
4. It is strictly prohibited to store electric power-assisted vehicles (including battery cars, balance bikes, electric flatbed trucks, etc.) and various types of large-capacity batteries in the building and rooms, and it is strictly prohibited to charge electric power-assisted vehicles (including battery cars, balance bikes, electric flatbed trucks, etc.) and various types of large-capacity batteries in the building and rooms. In case of violation, the relevant items will be kept temporarily and returned at the time of graduation; in serious cases, the Centre will cancel the accommodation qualification and impose penalties in accordance with the regulations on the management of international students, and those who have violated the law will be dealt with by the relevant government departments in accordance with the law.
5. Pay attention to the safety of fire. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the dorm building.The violator will be required to pay the certain room decontamination fee. Please do not bring flammable and/or explosive items into the building. Do not have open fires in the room. Do not move fire-fighting equipment without prior-authorization or damage to the equipment. Do not block emergency evacuation routes, do not use fire facilities or equipment, or open emergency evacuation doors, etc in non-emergency situations. Any violation, upon discovery, will be subject to disciplinary action. Serious infractions will be subject to expulsion from the accommodation and disciplinary actions in accordance with the regulations on the administration of international students.
6. Be careful when using the induction cooker and microwave oven in the public kitchen and please do not leave the kitchen when they are in use so as to prevent leakage and other potential safety hazards. Please pay attention to the specifications for the use of kitchen facilities and equipment. Switch off power to all the electrical devices after use. If, due to personal reasons, someone cause safety hazards or damage to public property, the offender will be liable for the costs of the damage caused, and will be subject to expulsion from the accommodation and disciplinary actions in accordance with the regulations on the administration of international students.
7. Please report to the reception desk staff or International Students Dormitory Office if a fire, leakage or other accidents occurs in the building.
8. International students are not allowed to enter restricted areas such as rooftops, distribution rooms, lift machine rooms, water tank rooms, pipe wells and other equipment areas (including but not limited to) in non-emergency situations.
9. Please take good care of the public facilities and the furniture, electrical devices and the walls in the building. In the event of damage due to human error, compensation will be paid at double the original price. Refusal to pay any compensation owed will result in the expulsion from the accommodation and disciplinary actions in accordance with the regulations on the administration of international students.
10. Furniture and equipment other than the original configuration of the dormitory and apartment building (e.g., washing machines, drinking fountains, etc.), private decoration in the rooms or changes in the structure, layout, and function of the house shall not be added.
11. Visitors are allowed from Monday to Friday: 12:00-23:00; Saturday and Sunday: 10:00-23:00. When visiting, please present the valid ID to the reception desk staff for registration (the ID will be temporarily kept at the reception desk). It is strictly forbidden to let people who are not from the building or the dormitory stay overnight. No visitor is allowed to enter the dormitories during non-visitor hours. Those who violate the Visitor Policy and allow non-residents to stay overnight in the accommodation will be subject to a fine in an amount equal to three times that of the room fees. Serious infractions will be subject to expulsion from the accommodation and be notified to the College with disciplinary actions in accordance with the regulations on the administration of international students. During the reception of visitors, international students should stop inappropriate behaviors such as disrupting the order of the dormitory management by visitors and report them to the the front desk or International Students Dormitory Office in a timely manner if necessary.
12. Please keep the room and public areas clean. Do not paint, draw, post or throw debris in the building, and do not bring or keep pets in the building. Rubbish should be sorted and taken out of the dormitory building on time.
13. Please take care of your belongings. Please do not store valuables or large amounts of cash in the room unless they are locked or kept in a safe place. The students will be responsible for any loss or theft. Please take good care of the room access card, key, etc., and do not lend them to others, do not make room keys or add locks privately, and do not rent out the dormitory rooms and beds. When students leave the room, please lock the doors and windows, and turn off all power switches to prevent accidents.
14. Create a quiet and civilized living environment. Avoid making loud noises in the building. The use of audio-visual equipment, playing musical instruments, etc. need to control the volume, to avoid affecting the rest of others. If the volume of audio-visual equipment in the room is too loud and affects the rest of the students, and if the students around the room have complained about it more than 2 times, and do not listen to any persuasive actions, the equipment will be kept temporarily and returned to the students upon graduation. Excessive alcohol drink (more than 3 units a day, 1 unit = 25ml Whisky or 1/3 pint of beer) or being drunk inside dormitory building is strongly prohibited and offenders will be recorded in writing notice for the first time and will be subject to expulsion from the accommodation for the second time. It is strictly prohibited to throw objects from balcony or terrace of your dorm room. The Centre will cancel the accommodation qualification if anyone found breaking the rule; if it causes a major safety accident, it will be dealt with according to the relevant regulations.
15. The Centre, the College and the Security Department will enter the rooms at least once a month to carry out safety and hygiene inspections, so please cooperate with the inspections. For the violations found during the inspection, the inspectors have the right to take necessary measures immediately and issue the notice for the violations of safety and hygiene inspection. For 3 times or more, the Centre will cancel the accommodation qualification; for serious cases, the Centre has the right to cancel the accommodation qualification and notify the College to impose penalties in accordance with the regulations on the management of international students.
16. The dormitory building has a 24-hour access control system. Only one swipe card is provided to each student to access the building. Please return to the dormitory building before 24:00 or register for late access at the reception desk if returning later than 24:00.

These regulations shall come into force on July 1, 2024. The Chinese text of the regulation shall prevail. The right to interpret these regulations belongs to the Housing Management Centre of the Logistics Support Department.
